Cambrian 11 - Aberdare 0
Cambrian started this game positively, but the 1st 10 minutes of the game was a little frustrating as opportunities were not put away. Alexsie Clayton scored the 1st of her 3 goals and then the goals started to come. On the halftime whistle Cambrian were leading 5-0, with goals from Alexsi (3), Gemma (1) and Alicia (1). Changes were made at the start of the 2nd half with Nicole Hall and Alex Thomas replacing Alicia and Alexsie. In the 2nd half there was a lot more space and time and Cambrian took advantage of this. The passing and movement off the ball ensured a further 6 goals before the full time whistle coming from Angharad, Nicole, Alex (3) and Abbie Lewis (1). Good all round team performance and an opportunity for fringe players to get a full game under their belt.

Dinas Powys 3 - Cambrian 0
This rescheduled fixture was a top of the table clash between 2 sides that had not lost so far this season. Dinas scored a 1st half goal taking them in with the halftime lead. Cambrian were a little unfortunate with Alex Thomas hitting the post just before halftime, but were still in the game. With 10 minutes remaining Dinas scored their 2nd of the game and their 3rd came in the last minute of time. Both teams were evenly matched with the score not reflecting the overall performance from both teams.

Cambrian 13 - Caerau Ely 0
Fillies started this game very quickly with an early goal from Angharad Chown. Moments later it was 2-0 with Angharad getting her 2nd of the game. Nicole Hall added a 3rd with Cambrian taking control of the game. Shauny Simkiss was having a good game before she had to leave the field after a clash of heads. Alicia Davies added a few more prior to the half time whistle, taking the fillies to a 7-0 lead. Caerau Ely came out for the 2nd half looking to stem the flow of goals and did well initially. However a further Cambrian goal meant they were again on the back foot. Bethan Eaves/Abbie Howards goal was very rarely troubled and another very good performance from Chloe Evans and Phoebe Lewis. Goal scorers were: Angharad Chown (3), Nicole Hall (1), Alicia Davies (5), Alex Thomas (2) and Alexsie Clayton (2)

Porthcawl 0 - Cambrian 13
This 2nd game of the season proved very entertaining on a bright sunny day in Porthcawl. 14’s started brightly in this game with some early opportunities, only to find that the Porthcawl goal keeper was in good form. The 1st goal came just after 15 minutes when Alicia Davies broke free to put the ball into the back of the net. At halftime fillies were 3-0 up and starting to control the game. Two quick 2nd half goals from Gemma Evans and Alica Davies ensured that the team could now dictate the game. Fillies began to pass the ball about creating space and opportunities to score more goals. 2nd half substitutes were made and all contributed to the game. Chloe Evans, was one of many who had an outstanding game. Scorers were Alicia Davies (9), Gemma Evans (2), Abbie Lewis (1) and Alex Thomas (1).

Cambrian 4 - Margam 1
This game was very evenly matched in the 1st half with the Margam goal keeper pulling of some good saves Cambrian came out more positive at the beginning of the 2nd period and an early goal from Abbie Lewis eased the nerves. A 2nd goal from Alicia Davies not long after ensured that Cambrian were gaining control of the game. Minutes later Alicia put the ball in the back of the net again 3-0. Cambrian seemed to relax a little too much after this goal and to Margam’s credit they started to play themselves back into the game and managed to pull a goal back. Margam continued with their pressure and and for a short period from Cambrians point of view they allowed Margam to take more control in the middle of the park. With 5 minutes left Alexi Clayton managed to put the ball in the back of the net to finish off this game 4-1. Very good performances from a number of players, including Shauny Simkiss and Abbie Lewis.
