Aberdare - Michael Sobels

Start out at Ferndale A4233. Over Maerdy Mountain into Aberdare. 1st Roundabout 3rd Exit , 2nd roundabout 2nd exit, passing Tesco on left. 3rd roundabout 2nd exit. Continue on this road to next roundabout. Take 2nd exit passing swimming pool on your right. Over narrow bridge toward playing fields and leisure centre.

Abertysswg

Follow A470 or Heads of the Valleys Road to Merthyr Tydfil A465 and you’ll get to 1st roundabout  Dowlais top (Asda’s up above). Follow A465 signposted Abergavenny for approx. 2 miles. Take slip road off left, up rise, go around roundabout and follow A469 signposted Bargoed for approx 2 miles. Go straight over roundabout by Renniks Car Sales. As you enter village of Pontlottyn (signpost on left), take 2nd left under viaduct. Follow road for approx. 400m around bend. Turn right into Abertysswg (opposite pit wheel). Follow road for 1 mile going past Rhymney Comp and astroturf pitch. As you come into village, pass triangle park (swings, play area) and turn right, opposite shop. Go downhill for 100m, changing rooms on the left. Follow gravel road down to field.

Caerphilly

Follow A470 and leave at sign post Caerphilly A468. Continue to the top of the hill and at the roundabout take last exit. Follow the road and at the next roundabout carry on straight through (2nd exit). Continue on this road under the railway bridge. Stay on this road until you can see Caerphilly Castle, turn right at this junction, castle will now be on you left hand side. Take the next right and just up on the right hand side is the carpark to the field. (Caerphilly also use a field on the opposite side of the main road, you turn left instead of right off main road by castle)

Cardiff City - Trelai Park

A4119 down to Junction 34 of M4. Take 1st slip road off the M4. At roundabout take 3rd exit onto A4232. Take 2nd slip road off A4232 Culverhouse Cross junction and remain in inside lane. Take 1st exit onto A48 Cowbridge Road West. Stay on this duel carriageway road for a couple of miles in the outside lane passing the fire station on right hand side. Not long after this you will see Farm Foods on the right hand side. At these traffic lights turn right. At mini roundabout go straight over, travel down this road and you will see the car park and playing fields of Trelai Park. Changing rooms are down on the far end of carpark.

Coed Cae Colts - Duffryn Park - Blaina

Start out at Ferndale A4233. Over Maerdy Mountain into Aberdare. 1st Roundabout 3rd Exit , 2nd roundabout 2nd exit, passing Tesco on left. 3rd roundabout 1st exit. Continue on this road to next roundabout, going straight on. At next roundabout take 3 rd exit sign posted Llwyd coed. Travel through Llwyd coed and at  junction turn right toward Merthyr.  At Heads of the Valleys Road roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A465 (signposted Abergavenny).Head northeast on A465/Heads of the Valleys Rd. Go through 5 roundabouts. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A467. Go through 3 roundabouts.Turn right Tonto local road opposite Texaco garage/off licence. Follow track on right hand side into Duffryn Park.

Crickhowell - Llangynidr Playing Fields.

Start out at Ferndale A4233. Over Maerdy Mountain into Aberdare. 1st Roundabout 3rd Exit , 2nd roundabout 2nd exit, passing Tesco on left. 3rd roundabout 1st exit. Continue on this road to next roundabout, going straight on. At next roundabout take 3 rd exit sign posted Llwyd coed. Travel through Llwyd coed and at  junction turn right toward Merthyr.  At Heads of the Valleys Road roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A465 (signposted Abergavenny). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A465 (signposted Abergavenny). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A465 (signposted Abergavenny). At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A465 (signposted Abergavenny). Continue on A465 until you come to  a  turning on the left hand side sign posted  Llangynidr B4560. At next junction turn right, continue over mountain road. At foot of the mountain turn left. Aprrox 1/4 mile field is on right, parking on left.

Dinas Powys - Bryn Y Don Playing fields.

Merge onto M4. At junction 33, exit toward A4232/Penarth/Barry. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A4232 heading to A4232. Take the A48 exit toward A4050. At Culverhouse Cross Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A4050/Port Rd. Go through 5 roundabouts. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A4231/Barry Docks Link Rd. Go through 1 roundabout, at next roundabout (McDonalds to the right of you) take the 1st left onto A4055 Cardiff road. Follow this road for approx ¼ mile, field is on the left hand side.

Georgetown - Pentrebach

From Pontypridd A470 heading for Merthyr Tydfil at Abercynon roundabout straight on. Carry on up the A470 , at next roundabout take third exit on the right sign posted Pentrebach go down the slip road , come to traffic lights straight on to roundabout. Take 1st left off roundabout, follow the road straight on, go over the min roundabout, carry on down the road houses on both sides watch the speed cameras. You come to a set of traffic lights, cost cutters on your left turn right at the lights follow the road straight on under the bridge. Follow road straight on which veers to the left follow road straight on for approx mile and half the pitch is on your left you’ll see the rugby posts but the football pitch is at the side of it.

Mardy Tigers - Abergavenny Leisure Centre @ King Henry VIII School.

Start out at Ferndale A4233. Over Maerdy Mountain into Aberdare. 1st Roundabout 3rd Exit , 2nd roundabout 2nd exit, passing Tesco on left. 3rd roundabout 1st exit. Continue on this road to next roundabout, going straight on. At next roundabout take 3 rd exit sign posted Llwyd coed. Travel through Llwyd coed and at  junction turn right toward Merthyr.  At Heads of the Valleys Road roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A465 (signposted Abergavenny). Stay on the heads of the valley to Abergavenny through the major road works until you reach the main roundabout at the end of the heads of the valley road. Take 1st left - Abergavenny. Enter Abergavenny, past bus station on right and travel up into the town. At first opportunity TURN RIGHT. Pub on the corner.

When you get to a set of lights with ESSO station on your right TURN LEFT. Through 1 set of lights and directly after passing 2nd set TURN RIGHT. Stay on this road, through the lights and up the hill passed a church and the school / leisure centre is on your LEFT.

Pant

Follow A470 or Heads of the Valleys Road to Merthyr Tydfil A465 and you’ll get to 1st roundabout  Dowlais top (Asda’s up above). Take 4th exit (Last exit off roundabout) and follow the road down over some speed bumps. Engine house on left hand side just prior to the roundabout. At mini roundabout take 3rd exit (Last exit). Follow road for a couple of miles until you see a park on the left hand side. Take your 1st turning on you right hand side after the park (curved grass verge on junction) then turn right again. Take your 1st left onto Gladwys street take 3rd right onto Glanmorlais. Parking area and field in front of you.

Pontypridd

From Tonypandy/Ferndale, head toward Porth, onto Trehaford A4058, through Hopkinstown into Pontypridd. Left hand lane at lights onto Gelliwasted Road. Straight through 1st set of traffic lights and 2nd. The Malsters pub on right, turn through gates into park on right just after this. Take top road through barrier (use intercom) and follow road down to the car park at the bottom.

Directions to Pontypridd’s pitch in Treforest are A470, come off at the roundabout for Tesco’s Upper Boat, take last exit, Focus should be on your right hand side. Follow this road passed Enterprise cars. A little further on to the left you should be able to see the playing field. Take left turn between field and care home.

Porthcawl

Directions to Rest Bay

Leave M4 at Exit No 37 (Porthcawl/Pyle/Cornelly). Take the lane signposted Porthcawl  (dual-carriageway A4229 to Porthcawl) Travel across a roundabout (2nd turnoff) and under a bridge. Leave the next roundabout at 3rd exit to the right. There is an Esso garage on your left. Travel past Grove Golf Club on your right and carry on this road until you reach another roundabout. Take 3rd turning right towards Nottage follow this road for approximately 1 mile. Each side of the road are dormer bungalows. At the end of this road is The Common. You will have to take a sharp left with the sea on your right. Follow this road for approx 400 yards and  turn right. Follow this road for a further 400 yards and take your first right towards the sea Restbay beach and Royal Porthcawl golf  club.

Porthcawl -  Locks lane turn left instead of right, down a lane for some 200 yards (The left turn is opposite the turning you would normally take when heading for Rest Bay) and the ground (Locks Lane) and Car parking facilities are at the fields with dressing rooms.

Thornhill - Cae Delyn Park.

From Ponty travel A470 toward Cardiff, until the traffic lights at end of A470 (Whitchurch golf club on your left) You are now entering Manor Way, go straight on and try to get into inside lane as early as possible, over the brow of the hill look out for speed camera. At next set of lights you can see 2 junctions together, you can take the 2nd turning into Cae Delyn and then immediately right into Ash Grove (runs parallel to dual carriageway). At the end of Ash Grove on the left is the entrance for vehicles into Cae Delyn rec. Alternatively if you miss this junction continue on Manor Way until next left and take this turning. If you arrive at the next set of traffic lights Toby Carvery/Tesco Extra you've gone to far.

Sully

Junction 33 M4 follow signs to airport. Over about 10 roundabouts until signs saying Sully which is a left turn off roundabout. Pass a Lidal and a Macdonalds stay on same road straignt over mini roundabouts. Until a sign for Sully South road which will be a left turnning. After turnning left you come across a zebra crossing, its the first left turnning after the zebra crossing on to Burnham Avenue. Stay on this road pitch at end right on sea front.
